More About Kim

One of the fundamental reasons people choose to be in a relationship or not, whether business or otherwise, concerns whether they feel they can trust the other person. How do you build trust? That’s a good one! Some people give trust until someone gives them a reason not to; others feel you have to earn it first. Either way, one of the primary ways to build trust in relationships is to get to know each other as individuals.

Well, since we at Catapult People Solutions, LLC are very much about relationships, we thought we’d share a little more about Kim Rivera Beattie on a personal level. …After all, the whole person shows up in their work, don’t they? (More on that in another blog!)

Kim has a passion for freedom and individuality that came from growing up as a military brat and living around the world, to include in third world countries. There she saw poverty that broke her heart and also learned from others that being broke does not mean you have to have a broken spirit. In many ways, some of the poorest people she met were some of the richest. Even in the most desperate of situations, there are those that choose to take control of their situations and do something about it.

This has stayed with her and today she is actively involved in the fight against poverty and hunger, both in her community and abroad. She is committed to raising individual consciousness around how to find meaning and balance in their lives, and how to take control of their lives. She is also dedicated to businesses and how to find a place for words like, “heart” and “spirit” in the business environment and how to be a leader with heart and spirit.

She learned early in business that “the little things are the big things” and she is crazy enough to believe that one little person can make a big difference. And so she is also reaching out to businesses to help them leverage the heart and the spirit of their people and to help them stretch their collective people resources toward defining a new kind of leadership where everyone can lead and everyone can impact- at all levels of the organization.

Now that you know a little more about us, we would like to get to know you!
