Today the catapult is commonly seen as a device launching seaplanes into flight. Today’s technology has created catapults that place less stress on the aircraft and offer more control during the launch by allowing gradual and continual acceleration.

The catapult, whether in ancient times or present times, has been an innovation that has created forward movement. But it’s not just about movement. It’s about direction… with a purpose. And a burst of energy that provides the acceleration toward that target. That is who we are and what we provide. That is the inspiration for Catapult People Solutions, LLC.

About Kim

Kim Rivera Beattie formed Catapult People Solutions in 2004 with the vision of building lasting relationships with clients through providing a variety of Sourcing, Training, and Development services that contribute to the overall health and success of their organizations. Since that time, the list of clients with whom Kim and Catapult People Solutions has left an imprint is ever-growing and includes companies with less than 50 team members to tens of thousands of team members.

Catapult People Solutions, LLC is a boutique firm that specializes in working with organizations to customize “People Solutions” programs ranging from flawless selection and seamless on-boarding of talent to management and leadership development and coaching for long-term, high impact results. We also specialize in working with companies to manage the generation gap that many workforces are at the same time both challenged and blessed with.

Kim Rivera Beattie herself is a “Gen X’er” with the ability to bridge that generation gap through her high-energy, hip-yet-sophisticated, relational and humor-filled story-telling style. Having been an executive in the corporate world herself, she also has an intimate understanding of the difficulty maintaining balance between personal and professional life. She strives to educate executive management on how to maintain harmony between their physical and spiritual well-being and their professional lives.

Kim has 17 years of experience in the corporate coaching, recruiting, training and development arenas, 5 years of which were at the executive level as VP of Human Resources, Recruiting, and Training for one of the most recognized brands in the restaurant industry. Kim’s experience at an executive level position in corporate America allows her to have an insightful understanding the challenges facing corporations today. She has excellent problem-solving skills, masterful team-building skills, outstanding brainstorming capabilities, and is a motivating and inspirational public speaker. Her approach with her clients is direct and personable. She gives them the professionalism, determination, and motivation of an executive on their team.

Kim graduated from University of Central Florida with a degree from the school of Communications. She was further educated at the Tomas Leonard Schools of Coaching, one of the top coaching schools in the United States. She is also a member of the Council for Hotel and Restaurant Trainers and the American Society for Training and Development.
